Great weather, course conditions and friends.
This weekend was a roller coaster of competition with many players in the mix in all divisions right down to the last holes. Mens division had Andrew Beneteau leading after the first round shooting a blistering round of 68, 4 under par. The second day his father Chris Beneteau slowly reeled Andrew in shooting the only sub par round on the final day (70) scoring and impressive even par 144 over the two days. With the return of Kelly Hanson after a few years away from The Braes as reestablish her self once again as Ladie’s club champ with an impressive 172. This is Kelly’s 6th club champ win. Carson Rand is keeping his streak going winning his third in a row in the senior division. Frank Amo has now secured his second super senior title. Lorraine MacFarlane Joined the club for the first time this year. May being rained out she had only 6 weeks to get used to the course. Lorraine still managed to come out on top of the ladies senior division. Thomas Beneteau was the best junor for the third year in a row. His game keeps improving every year so look for his name for year to come. Congratulations to all winners. Thank you to all participants for competing this past weekend.
