Margaret Wolfram, born in Scotland, named the course and every hole on it. Camden for the village just north of the club, braes for the gently sloping hills of her homeland. Remember to roll your r's.
Aerial views and drone flyovers of every hole.

Named for East Kilbride in Lanarkshire, Scotland, the village where Margaret was born.
▶ Watch the flyover
A water demon or spirit. The pond on the left seems to pull golf balls in all on its own.
▶ Watch the flyover
The bridge. Herb, a talented mason, built the stone wall at the tee from field stones gathered off the course.
▶ Watch the flyover
Scots for armpit. A gentle rolling curve to the left, with a stream running just before the green.
▶ Watch the flyover
Named for the beautiful Highland glens. A babbling stream, mature trees, and the odd deer at the north end.
▶ Watch the flyover
A pond or lake, aptly named. The largest water hazard on the course, home to a family of Canada geese.
▶ Watch the flyover
For Cathkin Braes Golf Club in Lanarkshire, where Uncle Hamilton Frame first showed Herb how to swing a club.
▶ Watch the flyover
Small animal. Huge trees grab at your ball in flight, and the pond on the left waits for anything that gets past.
▶ Watch the flyover
A "gently" sloping incline. Many would argue the gently part after eight holes of walking.
▶ Watch the flyover
Ben means mountain. A clifftop tee with a wonderful view of the course, and drives that seem to fly farther.
▶ Watch the flyover
Small change. Shortened when the pipeline came through in 1976. You can still spot the old green down the fairway.
▶ Watch the flyover
A porridge stirring stick, now in its fourth generation of Wolfram family use. Maybe the straightest fairway on the course.
▶ Watch the flyover
An annoyance. The fairway is amply wide, yet the woods still seem to find your ball.
▶ Watch the flyover
Scots for stream. The sparkling brook is home to turtles, geese, ducks, fish, and even an otter.
▶ Watch the flyover
A shepherd’s rough shelter, named for the old maple sugar shack that once stood behind this tee.
▶ Watch the flyover

A small child. A short par 3, named for its size and the old toys once found in the ruins nearby.
▶ Watch the flyover
A handsome laddie. Finish your round facing the clubhouse Herb designed and built with his own two hands.
