Ladies Invitational 2008 in support of Breast Cancer Research

Well, the day started out dark and rainy, but that nasty weather only lasted while we had hot coffee and yummy muffins. As we headed out onto the course the rain stopped and after the first few holes the sun came out! The grounds crew and the rain we have had all summer created the perfect conditions for Camden Braes, which was in the best shape it has ever been in. Marilyn and Annetta, from Aloette were "on hand" to give hand massages after the round. Our famous turkey dinner was a big hit and the silent auction and raffle table were teeming with goodies of all kinds. Thanks to Sue McRae, Camden Braes is thrilled to have raised $2,853.00 for the fight against Breast Cancer in the Kingston area. Thank you to all the ladies who helped us do so, either by participating or by volunteering.

A Special Thank you to our volunteers:

An extra special thank you to Sharon McClelland who organizes and helps run the tournament. Sue McRae is the reason we can raise so much money for such a great cause. Sue worked very hard to make the silent auction and the raffle tables such a success. This tournament has grown so large that it would not be such a success without all the members and friends who give so much into making this day such a wonderful day! Thank you everyone for your time and efforts.
Thank you to the volunteers who gave of their time to make this a success:

Lynne Hedges, Kelly Wolfram, Vaughn Hughes, Clare and Doug Perry, Donna Robinson, Linda Mowers, Marg Wolfram, and Jan Glen.

Thank you everyone for your generous donations.
